About
I have always had a passion for driving ever since my father taught me to drive off road at the age of 12 and both of my previous jobs have been based around vehicles. I started off as a car mechanic straight from school and then moved on to work in the haulage industry where I acquired my class 1 HGV licence. I am also a keen motorcyclist and hold a full motorcycle licence.
I qualified as a DVSA approved driving instructor back in 2003 and after spending two years working for BSM I decided to establish Gary’s School of Motoring which I did back in July 2005. Seven years on, I am still as enthusiastic as when I first started and am very committed to giving first class professional and safe tuition.
I am a grade A instructor which puts me in the top 31% of all driving instructors. I am also a member of both the Driving Instructors Association and the Leighton Linslade Driver Training Association which keeps me up to date with any industry changes. I have also been CRB checked.
As no two peopIe are the same, I structure the lessons around you, the pupil by adapting my teaching style to suit your individual needs. I am very patient and welcome nervous pupils. Having lived in Leighton Buzzard for the past 18 years I have good local knowledge of the areas I cover.
As mentioned on my home page, my pass rate is well above the average for this area which is round about the 44% mark. Listed below are my pass rates for the last 5 years.
